Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Changkum collects through changkum.com and what we do with it. Changkum is a trade name of Knolyz LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Atlanta, Georgia ("Changkum", "we", "us").
What we collect
What you send us. The enquiry form on this site does not store anything on our servers. When you press Send, it opens your own email app with your answers filled in, and nothing reaches us unless you send that email. If you do, or if you email us directly, we receive what you include: usually your name, email address, business name, rough revenue and your message.
What you share later. If we move forward, you may share financial statements, tax returns, customer lists and similar records. We ask for these only after both sides sign a non-disclosure agreement, and that agreement governs them.
Technical data. Like any website, the services that deliver this site receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. See "Services we use" below.
Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site saves one small note in your browser for the current session so the opening animation does not replay. It contains no personal information and clears when you close the tab.
How we use it
- To reply to you and evaluate whether your business fits what we buy or the services we offer
- To prepare and negotiate an offer, if both sides want to proceed
- To keep records we are required to keep, and to protect our legal rights
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only people who need it to do the work, under confidentiality: our lawyers, accountants, lenders and similar advisers involved in evaluating or financing a transaction. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Services we use
- Vercel hosts this site and keeps standard server logs.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when the page loads.
- unpkg serves a small open-source scrolling library.
- Your email provider and ours handle any email you send.
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries as long as they are useful for the conversation they started, and deal records as long as tax and legal rules require. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing admin@changkum.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so please do not email documents you have not been asked for.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
